Keeping a your Mental state healthy is extremely important especially at uni where so much of what you do is using 'ze little grey cells'
People with learning difficulties are highly likely to develop mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
Here are just a few tips for looking after your most important asset.
- Keep to a regular time schedule - don't get your body clock mixed up as to what is night and what is day.
- Enjoy Spring now that it has sprung, get out and enjoy the sunshine (just watch out for those maggies)
-Use art, music or journaling to express yourself - Spend time in nature Tasmania has the many wonderful waterfalls, Tasmania is known for especially with all the rain at the moment.
- Set some small goals, and get help seeing them through - Talk kindly to yourself - Easier said than done, but beating yourself up won't help, we all have our strengths and weaknesses - Websites and free apps that can help
